Prohibits the state of Idaho and all political subdivisions from mandating individuals wear face masks, face shields, or other face coverings to prevent or slow the spread of contagious or infectious diseases

Prohibits state officials and employees of political subdivisions from issuing mask mandates for disease prevention purposes

Prohibits requiring face coverings as a condition for entry, education, employment, or access to services

Requires that any recommendation to use face masks include a notice stating the recommendation is not mandatory

Exempts hospitals and health care facilities from the mask mandate prohibition

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval as an emergency measure
