Allows qualifying parents or legal guardians to provide driver's training instruction to eligible students as an alternative to formal driver's training courses, known as "parent-student driver's training."

Parent or legal guardian must possess a valid Idaho driver's license permitting unaccompanied driving and have not had their license suspended, revoked, canceled, or disqualified for the previous two (2) years.

Parent-student driver's training requires 92 total hours of instruction, including at least 50 hours of street or highway driving and at least 10 hours of driving after sunset or before sunrise, with parents maintaining and submitting a training log.

Reduces the nonrefundable permit fee from $15.00 to $10.00 for pupils participating in parent-student driver's training.

Corrects code references in sections 49-302 and 49-303 to reference section 49-307(910) instead of 49-307(9), and takes effect January 1, 2023.
