House Bill 694 Summary

• Amends Section 34-433 to require the state board of health and welfare to furnish the secretary of state with monthly listings of deceased Idaho residents showing name, date of birth, county of residence, and residence address by the 25th of each month.

• Restricts publicly requestable versions of the death listing to include only decedent's name, county of residence, residence address, and age at time of list creation, excluding date of birth and other information.

• Amends Section 39-270 to clarify that lists of registration shall not be compiled for public use except as provided in Section 34-433(2).

• Declares the act an emergency measure, effective immediately upon passage and approval.
