Amends county recorder fees to change "cornerstone markers" to "corner records" in the list of documents that are filed rather than recorded.

Revises definitions in land survey and plat statutes to clarify terminology related to survey monuments, bearings, and coordinate systems, and adds requirements for showing datum, epoch, and projection information on surveys.

Expands options for monuments used as ties on plats and records of survey to include center of section, quarter section, or sixteenth section corners with current corner records, in addition to public land survey corners and county surveyor-recognized monuments.

Updates definitions of "monument" to remove language stating it "occupies the exact position" and clarify it is intended to "mark, reference, or witness" a corner or position.

Declares an emergency and makes the act effective July 1, 2022.
