Exempts noncommercial vehicles, as defined in Idaho Code section 49-123(2)(k), from stopping at ports of entry and inspection stations established by the Idaho Transportation Department.

Applies to vehicles with a maximum gross weight of 26,001 pounds or more used to transport merchandise, products, commodities, or livestock.

Maintains stopping and inspection requirements for vehicles or combinations of vehicles with 10,000 pounds or more gross weight that transport livestock or placardable quantities of hazardous materials.

Makes technical corrections to section 40-511, Idaho Code, including clarifying language regarding vehicle terminology and inspection station procedures.

Takes effect on July 1, 2022, with an emergency declaration.
