Allows charter school teachers to obtain a charter school-specific teaching certificate by holding a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or satisfying career technical education requirements, as an alternative to traditional teacher certification.

Permits charter school-specific teaching certificates to be transferred between public charter schools at the receiving school's election, but they are not transferable to traditional public school districts.

Allows charter schools to substitute their own ongoing education and professional development requirements in place of state board of education rules if the same number of credit hours is required.

Corrects code references in sections 33-5209C and 33-5210, Idaho Code, to ensure accurate citations within the charter school statutes.

Takes effect on July 1, 2022, with an emergency declaration.
