Amends Idaho Code Section 33-1625 to add chiropractic physicians as qualified health care professionals authorized to clear youth athletes to return to play after concussions or head injuries.

Chiropractic physicians must be licensed under Idaho Code Chapter 7, Title 54 and have successfully completed a state board of chiropractic physicians-approved concussion management education program.

Required concussion education program must include comprehensive concussion and brain injury evaluation, ongoing patient reassessment, recognition of atypical brain injury responses, appropriate care plan implementation, return to activity determination, and referral to appropriate health care providers.

Maintains existing requirements that schools develop removal-from-play protocols consistent with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and obtain annual written parental consent for athletic participation.

Takes effect July 1, 2022, with an emergency declaration.
