Extends the timeframe for offenders to return address verification notices from 7 days to 14 days after mailing by the department for both violent sexual predators and other sex offenders.

Changes the registration appearance window in Section 18-8307(5)(c) from 5 days to 7 days following the mailing date of the notice.

Requires offenders without a physical residence address to report in person every 14 days instead of every 7 days to the sheriff, with the sheriff conducting monthly verification visits of the reported location.

Maintains existing registration fees: violent sexual predators pay $50 for first quarterly registration and $10 for subsequent quarterly registrations; all other offenders pay $80 annually.

Becomes effective July 1, 2022, with an emergency declaration.
