Amends Section 33-1609, Idaho Code to define "abstinence" as the absence of any sexual activity prior to marriage, including physical contact involving intimate or private areas of the body that can result in pregnancy, transmit sexually transmitted diseases and infections, or present emotional risks.

Revises the definition of "sex education" to mean the study of the anatomy and the physiology of human reproduction.

Changes the section heading from "Sex Education" Defined" to "Definitions."

Becomes effective July 1, 2023, with an emergency declaration.
