State, political subdivisions, and public health districts cannot order residents to remain home, close businesses, social distance, or wear masks during emergencies, or advertise experimental vaccines, drugs, or medications.

Patients cannot be denied treatment for refusing vaccines or other medications, and must receive emergency treatment regardless of sex, age, race, national origin, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status.

Patients have rights to informed consent in plain language, refuse treatment, choose their health care providers, maintain privacy of medical information, and receive fair review of complaints against providers.

Experimental drugs or medications cannot be administered without signed informed written consent from the patient or their legally designated representative.

Health care providers licensed by Idaho cannot receive state funding, privileges, or benefits in return for violating these health rights provisions; effective July 1, 2023.
