Creates Chapter 60, Title 19, Idaho Code regarding compliance with immigration law, effective July 1, 2023.

Prohibits governmental entities from adopting, enforcing, or endorsing policies that prohibit or discourage enforcement of federal immigration laws.

Requires governmental entities to permit peace officers, corrections officers, booking clerks, magistrates, and prosecuting attorneys to inquire into immigration status, communicate with federal immigration agencies, maintain immigration information, and cooperate with federal immigration officers.

Allows any person, including the federal government, to file a complaint with the Idaho Attorney General if a governmental entity violates these requirements.

Authorizes the Attorney General to seek a writ of mandamus or other equitable relief in district court to compel compliance and recover reasonable expenses including court costs, attorney's fees, investigative costs, witness fees, and deposition costs.
