Allows early retired members reemployed within 90 days to be treated as continuous employees; retirement is negated and all benefit payments must be repaid to the system.

Suspends retirement benefits when a retired member becomes employed again, resumes contributions, and upon subsequent retirement receives a separate allowance for service during reemployment period.

Permits retired members elected to public office (after 6+ months retirement), retired school employees age 60+, and retired public safety officers to continue receiving benefits without accruing additional service or making contributions.

Creates temporary provisions through June 30, 2026 allowing certain retired members who retired before January 1, 2022 at age 55+ to continue benefits without accruing service upon reemployment.

Establishes that employers must immediately report retired member employment to the retirement board; employers failing to report are liable for delinquent contributions, suspended benefits paid, and accrued interest, which may be recouped from the retired member.
