Amends Idaho Code Section 33-1201 to allow students in state board of education-approved registered apprenticeship programs for teachers to serve as teacher apprentices without requiring a teaching certificate, provided they work under a certificated teacher's supervision.

Extends liability insurance coverage to students serving in practicum, internship, apprenticeship, or student teaching positions, ensuring they receive the same coverage as certificated personnel in the school district.

Amends Idaho Code Section 33-1203 to establish that successful completion of a state board of education-approved registered apprenticeship program for teachers qualifies as an alternative to the standard four (4) years of accredited college training required for teacher certification.

Declares an emergency and makes the act effective on July 1, 2023.
