Designates Oryctodromeus as the official state dinosaur of Idaho by adding Section 67-4516 to Idaho Code Chapter 45.

Clarifies that the state cannot use eminent domain to acquire Oryctodromeus fossils or land containing such fossils.

Oryctodromeus was first discovered in 2006, measured approximately seven feet long and weighed about seventy pounds, lived during the Cretaceous Period as a small herbivore.

Oryctodromeus fossils are found in the Wayan Formation in the Caribou Mountains and are notable as one of the only known dinosaur species that cared for its young and lived in burrows.

Effective date is July 1, 2023, with an emergency clause declared for immediate enactment.
