Amends Section 59-1352 of Idaho Code to add "school employee member" to the list of members eligible for occupational disability retirement.

School employee members hired on or after July 1, 1993, who are not eligible for service retirement can receive disability retirement if disabled due to bodily injury or disease from an occupational cause, effective immediately upon employment.

Maintains existing eligibility requirements that only active members and inactive members whose last contribution was less than one year prior to application can apply for disability retirement.

Declares an emergency and makes the act effective on July 1, 2024.
