HB 436 Summary

• Creates the Idaho Allied Health Advisory Board as an advisory body to the Idaho Board of Medicine, consisting of 7 members representing dietitians, athletic trainers, respiratory therapists, naturopathic doctors, polysomnography providers, physicians, and the public.

• Consolidates oversight of four allied health professions (dietetics, athletic training, respiratory care, and naturopathic medicine) under the Board of Medicine with recommendations from the new advisory board, eliminating separate licensure boards.
