• A lessee's continued use of a storage space for at least 14 days without signing a rental agreement constitutes acceptance of the agreement with the same effect as if signed.

• Allows operators to dispose of personal property without liability if the lessee fails to remove items after the rental agreement ends and the agreement advises disposal will occur.

• Revises notice requirements for lessees in default, changing language from "demand for payment" to requiring the lessee to "cure the specified default" within at least 10 days after notice.

• Allows operators to conduct lien sales without an auctioneer's license and sell property on publicly accessible websites, at the facility, or other locations.

• Effective date: July 1, 2024, with an emergency declaration.
