Establishes minimum of 10 paid contract days of military leave per school year for public school district and public charter school employees who are members of uniformed services, reserve components, or state militia ordered to active duty, training, or other duty requiring absence from work

Requires employees to submit copies of military orders or official documentation from the appropriate military authority indicating dates of service to authorize the military leave

Extends same benefits and protections provided under federal uniformed services law (38 U.S.C. 4301-4313 and 4316-4319) to Idaho public school employees who are militia members ordered to active duty by the governor, adjutant general, or other lawful authority

Allows employees to use available annual or vacation leave for additional compensation during military service

Permits public school districts and charter schools to establish more beneficial military leave policies or additional benefits beyond those required by this section
