Establishes a "depredation of livestock and prevention fund" in the state treasury administered by the Idaho State Department of Agriculture in consultation with the Department of Fish and Game and Office of Species Conservation.

Appropriates $225,000 annually beginning July 1, 2024, with $150,000 designated for compensation of validated livestock depredation claims and $75,000 for conflict prevention and deterrent information.

Prioritizes payment of validated depredation claims on a pro rata basis, followed by probable claims on a pro rata basis, with any remaining funds carried over to the next calendar year; fund cap set at $400,000.

Bases compensation on current fair market value as determined by the Idaho State Department of Agriculture, with deductions for any other compensation already received by livestock owners.

Defines "livestock" to include cattle, sheep, goats, swine, poultry, bees, llamas, and equine animals used for food or agricultural production, excluding aquatic animals; effective July 1, 2024.
