Honors Representative Sue Chew's seventeen years of service representing District 17-B in the Idaho House of Representatives, having been first elected in 2006 and serving nine terms as the longest-serving Democrat in the chamber.

Recognizes her education including a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Natural Resources from UC Berkeley and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UC San Francisco, followed by a geriatric pharmacy residency at the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Acknowledges her legislative advocacy for education reform, health care accessibility, environmental conservation, pharmacy expansion, indigent health care reform, disability rights, and protection against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Notes her service on seven House committees including Commerce and Human Resources, Health and Welfare, Education, Local Government, and Environment, Energy, and Technology, and her sponsorship of 2018 House Bill 649 protecting persons seeking emergency medical assistance for overdose from drug crime prosecution.
