Adds new section 41-1853 to Idaho Code requiring health benefit plans and student health benefit plans to cover prescription contraception with specific reimbursement requirements effective January 1, 2025.

Requires plans to reimburse for prescription contraception intended to last six (6) months obtained at one time, unless the enrollee has never been prescribed contraception (in which case the provider prescribes a smaller initial supply) or the enrollee requests a smaller supply.

Requires plans to allow enrollees to receive prescription contraception on-site at the prescribing provider's office when available, with dispensing practices following clinical guidelines.

Excludes abortion-inducing drugs, devices, or products as defined in Idaho Code section 18-604 and emergency contraception from reimbursement requirements.

Becomes effective July 1, 2024 under emergency declaration.
