Prohibits Idaho public postsecondary educational institutions from requiring applicants to submit or ascribe to a diversity statement as part of hiring, admissions, contract renewal, or promotion processes.

Defines "diversity statement" to include written or oral statements discussing race, sex, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, views on diversity and equity, social justice, religion, or theories advocating differential treatment based on protected characteristics.

Allows institutions to require disclosure of scholarly research or creative works, certification of compliance with anti-discrimination law, and discussion of pedagogical approaches for students with disabilities.

Permits applicants and candidates to voluntarily provide information related to diversity statements on their own initiative.

Becomes effective July 1, 2024, and is declared an emergency measure.
