Maintains $9.00 fee for temporary registration permits valid for 30 days, with fee distribution: $5.00 to county current expense fund and $4.00 to state highway distribution account when collected by assessor

Makes technical corrections to existing statute language regarding permit display requirements, record-keeping procedures, and fee collection processes

Declares an emergency and makes act effective July 1, 2024
