Amends Section 45-702 of Idaho Code regarding hospital and nursing care liens to require hospitals send copies of claims and liens by certified mail with return receipt requested within one day after filing.

Hospitals must file a verified written statement with the county recorder containing the patient's name and address, hospital name and location, dates of admission and discharge, amount claimed due, and names and addresses of all persons or entities claimed liable for damages.

Notice of the filed claim or lien applies to all persons, firms, or corporations liable for damages regardless of whether they are specifically named in the claim or lien.

Makes technical corrections to clarify that patient information comes "as it appears" on hospital records and that the statement shall be filed "before, or within ninety (90) days after" patient discharge.

Declares an emergency and makes the act effective July 1, 2024.
