Repeals Idaho Code sections 44-1301 (restrictions on employment of children under 14), 44-1302 (educational requirements for children under 16), 44-1304 (working hours for children under 16), and 44-1305 (penalties).

Redesignates and retains sections 44-1303, 44-1306, 44-1307, and 44-1308 with technical corrections and updated cross-references to reflect the repealed sections.

Maintains prohibitions against theatrical employment of children under 16 in dangerous or immoral activities, with fines of $50-$250 or jail time up to 6 months.

Preserves restrictions on employing minors in saloons, gambling houses, houses of prostitution, or in handling intoxicating liquors, with fines of at least $50 or imprisonment of at least 2 months.

Declares emergency status and makes the act effective July 1, 2024, citing federal Fair Labor Standards Act as superseding Idaho's outdated 1907 child labor laws and removing public school session references that unfairly affect nonpublic school children.
