Supreme court justices' salaries increase from $165,212 to $181,733 effective July 1, 2024, with additional increases to $190,820 (July 1, 2026), $200,361 (July 1, 2027), and $210,379 (July 1, 2028).

Court of appeals judges receive 95% of supreme court justice salary; district judges receive 90%; magistrate judges receive 85% of supreme court justice salary.

Establishes a six-member Citizens' Committee on Judicial Compensation (three appointed by governor, three by legislature) with members serving staggered four-year terms beginning July 1, 2027.

Committee members must be Idaho residents, cannot hold government positions, and receive per diem compensation paid from legislative appropriations.

Starting December 1, 2028, the committee will establish judicial compensation rates for two-year periods, filed with the secretary of state and state controller; legislature can reject rates by concurrent resolution prior to the 25th legislative day of the next regular session.
