Charitable organizations exempt from federal taxation under section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code may hold athletic contests or exhibitions without State Athletic Commission oversight if the purpose is to raise money for the charitable organization

Amends Section 54-406, Idaho Code, to add this new exemption alongside existing exemptions for secondary schools, colleges, universities, sanctioned amateur events, and military installations

Technical correction changes "handwraps" from one word to "hand wraps" as two words in the statute

Declared an emergency measure, taking effect immediately upon passage and approval rather than following the standard effective date
