Amends Idaho Code Section 39-245A to change how corrections or amendments to birth certificate material facts are marked, effective July 1, 2025

Birth certificates corrected or amended on or after July 1, 2025 will no longer be marked "amended" and will not contain markings identifying the specific correction made

Corrected or amended birth certificates will instead display a sequential code (C1, C2, etc.) on the face of the certificate corresponding to the number of corrections made

Supporting evidence for corrections or amendments will be kept in registrar's office records rather than noted on the certificate itself

Hospital clerical or data entry error corrections will not be marked on the certificate face at all
