All Idaho law enforcement agencies must verify and record the immigration status and nationality of every arrested individual during the administration of criminal justice

Law enforcement agencies must publish biannual reports starting October 1, 2025, detailing immigration status and nationality of criminal offenders, statistics on foreign nationals arrested, number of illegal aliens investigated/apprehended/detained/transferred to federal officials, and associated crimes

Applies to all state, county, and local law enforcement including Idaho State Police, municipal police departments, and county sheriff's departments

Agencies failing to comply may have state funding withheld

Declared an emergency measure, effective July 1, 2025
