Idaho Legislature submits three separate applications to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention of the states for proposing constitutional amendments

First application seeks a balanced budget amendment requiring federal outlays not exceed estimated revenues in any fiscal year, absent a national emergency

Second application addresses imposing fiscal restraints on the federal government, limiting federal power and jurisdiction, and limiting terms of office for federal officials and members of Congress

Third application specifically targets congressional term limits for both U.S. House and Senate members

All three applications remain active until two-thirds of states apply on the same subject or until December 31, 2031, and supersede any previous Idaho applications on these subjects
