Students in barber and cosmetology programs may take licensure examinations after completing 80% of their required education hours, rather than waiting until full completion

Applies to all license types under the act: barbers (900 hours), barber-stylists (1,500 hours), cosmetologists (1,600 hours), electrologists (600 hours), estheticians (600 hours), and nail technicians (400 hours)

Declared an emergency measure with an effective date of July 1, 2026

Amends Section 54-5810 of Idaho Code by adding a new subsection (6) establishing the early examination provision
