All Idaho law enforcement agencies must verify and record the immigration status and nationality of every arrested individual during the administration of criminal justice

Law enforcement agencies must publish biannual reports by October 1, 2026, detailing immigration status and nationality of offenders, crime statistics for foreign nationals arrested, and numbers of inadmissible aliens investigated, apprehended, detained, and transferred to federal officials

Applies to state, county, and local law enforcement including Idaho State Police, municipal police departments, and county sheriff's departments

Agencies that fail to comply may have state funding withheld

Declared an emergency measure, effective July 1, 2026
