New Idaho residents must apply for an Idaho driver's license within 30 days of establishing domicile, replacing the previous requirement that residency be established after 30 days of continuous domicile.

Vehicle registration must be completed within 30 days of becoming an Idaho resident for any motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer intended to operate on state highways.

Certificates of title must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a resident; failure to comply subjects the person to penalties under Section 49-504A.

The definition of "resident" is changed from requiring 30 days of continuous domicile to simply establishing domicile in Idaho, though driver's licenses issued to those domiciled less than 30 days cannot be used for voter identification.
