Removes the residency/attendance boundary requirement for nonpublic and public school students participating in nonacademic public school activities, including interscholastic sports

Students enrolled in public schools, public charter schools, or as nonpublic students may participate in nonacademic activities at their school of enrollment in the same manner as any other enrolled student

Public charter school students and nonpublic students may participate in activities at the public school within their residence's attendance boundaries if the activity is not offered at their school of enrollment

Preserves authority of associations to regulate eligibility of students transferring between schools within a public school district

Declared an emergency measure with an effective date of July 1, 2026
