Supports use of real sugar as a natural and locally produced alternative to artificial sweeteners in school meals

Idaho ranks second nationally in sugar beet production, with Amalgamated Sugar Company being the second-largest sugar beet processor in the U.S. and the industry contributing over $1 billion annually to the state economy

Directs the Chief Clerk of the House to forward copies of the memorial to the President, congressional leadership, Idaho's congressional delegation, and relevant cabinet secretaries
