Amends Section 20-524A, Idaho Code, to remove the word "standard" from "mountain standard time," updating the reference to simply "mountain time" for determining when orders of commitment are received by the Department of Juvenile Corrections.

Department of Juvenile Corrections must reimburse counties for detention costs when housing juvenile offenders beyond five calendar days after receiving a court's order of commitment.

Orders received after 3:00 p.m. mountain time are considered received the next business day; facsimile transmissions remain acceptable.

Declared an emergency measure with an effective date of July 1, 2026.

Part of the Idaho Code Cleanup Act initiative to streamline state laws by removing obsolete, outdated, or unnecessary provisions.
