Extends the eligibility date for PERSI retired members to return to work while continuing to receive benefits from January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2026, allowing members who retired at age 55 or older to be reemployed without benefit suspension or additional contributions

Removes the sunset provision that would have ended this reemployment option on June 30, 2026, making the provision permanent for eligible retired members

Maintains existing rules requiring early retirees who return to work within 90 days to repay retirement allowances and have their retirement negated

Declares an emergency and establishes an effective date of July 1, 2026
