Requires election authorities in Illinois counties to provide voter registration in precincts on election day, with registrants required to be residents of their precinct.

Amends seven sections of the Election Code (10 ILCS 5/4-6, 4-6.1, 5-5, 5-16.1, 6-29, 6-50, and 6-50.1) to establish same-day precinct registration requirements.

Allows county clerks and boards of election commissioners to offer precinct registration on election day in addition to existing pre-election registration methods at their offices.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
