Establishes a detailed process for revoking or not renewing charter school charters, requiring written notice from the chartering entity (local school board or State Board of Education) when violations are identified.

Requires charter schools to submit a written remediation plan within one calendar year of notification if they commit material violations of charter conditions, fail to meet fiscal management standards, or violate applicable laws.

Mandates that charter schools failing to meet content or pupil performance standards identified in their charter must be held to the terms as written in the charter agreement.

Provides that if the chartering entity finds the charter school has not rectified identified problems, the charter must be revoked or not renewed.

Exempts the state from providing reimbursement to local entities for costs associated with implementing the mandate created by this Act.
