Amends multiple Illinois statutes to require health insurance coverage for diagnostic testing for cardiovascular disease when ordered by a licensed physician, based on nationally recognized preventative guidelines.

Applies to group and individual accident and health insurance policies, managed care plans, and Health Maintenance Organizations amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the bill's effective date.

Mandates coverage requirements across state employee group insurance, county self-insured plans, municipal self-insured plans, school district insurance, health maintenance organizations, voluntary health services plans, and Medicaid.

Creates new Section 356z.15 in the Illinois Insurance Code establishing the cardiovascular disease testing coverage mandate as an Insurance Code requirement.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
