Changes taxidermy record inspection requirements from "any reasonable hour" to "during normal business hours" for peace officers under both the Fish and Aquatic Life Code and Wildlife Code.

Reduces the record retention period for taxidermists from 2 years to 6 months from the date of receipt, or as long as the specimen remains in the taxidermist's possession, whichever is longer.

Applies the same inspection and record-keeping changes to both aquatic life taxidermy (Fish and Aquatic Life Code Section 20-85) and wildlife taxidermy (Wildlife Code Section 3.21).
