Appropriates $31,600,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department on Aging for Community Care Program worker compensation, including $28,300,000 for a $1.19-per-hour rate increase (minimum $0.70-per-hour wage increase) and $3,300,000 for health insurance assistance increases of $0.13-per-hour.

Appropriates $3,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services for Home Services Program worker compensation, including $2,700,000 for a $1.19-per-hour rate increase (minimum $0.70-per-hour wage increase) and $300,000 for health insurance assistance increases of $0.13-per-hour.

Total appropriation of $34,600,000 in General Revenue Fund spending for worker wage and health insurance assistance across both programs.

Effective date is July 1, 2009.
