Requires individual and group accident and health insurance policies and managed care plans to provide coverage for intravenous feeding, prescription nutritional supplements (when medically appropriate and ordered by a physician), and physician-prescribed pain medication for policies amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the bill's effective date.

Applies new coverage requirements to state employees, county and municipal self-insured health plans, school employee health insurance, health maintenance organizations, and voluntary health services plans.

Benefits for intravenous feeding may be subject to the same deductibles, co-insurance, and dollar limits as other policy coverages.

Exempts the state from reimbursement obligations under the State Mandates Act for implementing these new insurance coverage mandates.
