• Amends the Wildlife Code to define "immediate family" as a person's spouse, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, sibling, in-laws, and adopted or step relations.

• Requires the Department of Natural Resources to issue free deer hunting permits to the immediate family members of Illinois landowners who own at least 40 acres and reside in Illinois, valid only for hunting on that landowner's property.

• Immediate family members who wish to hunt on land other than their family member's property must pay the standard deer permit fee (same as non-landowners).

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
