Amends the Illinois School Code to authorize school boards to place advisory questions on ballots through majority vote of board members.

Allows advisory questions on public policy matters to be submitted at the next regularly scheduled election in the school district.

Requires school boards to certify advisory questions to the proper election authority for inclusion on ballots in accordance with the Election Code.

Modifies Section 9-1 of the School Code to note exceptions for advisory referenda procedures under the new Section 9-1.2.
