School boards maintaining grades 10-12 must adopt a policy requiring students at least 18 years old to provide proof of valid voter registration as a condition for receiving a high school diploma, provided the student meets all other voter eligibility requirements.

Policy applies to both regular school districts (Section 10-20.46) and what appears to be a second district type (Section 34-18.37) with identical requirements.

State is exempt from reimbursing school districts for implementation costs under the State Mandates Act.
