IL HB2022

Amends the Eminent Domain Act by adding Section 25-5-30 to authorize quick-take proceedings for the City of Country Club Hills.

Permits quick-take proceedings for a one-year period from the effective date of this amendatory act by the 96th General Assembly.

Allows the City of Country Club Hills to acquire specified property in Cook County for building streets, roadways, and other public improvements to serve the City's I-57/I-80 Tax Increment Financing District.

Property subject to acquisition is described as part of Lots 2, 4-10, and 16 in Gatling Country Club Hills Resubdivision, located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 36 North, Range 13 East of the Third Principal Meridian.

Act takes effect upon becoming law.
