HB3782 - Movable Soccer Goal Safety Act

• Creates the Movable Soccer Goal Safety Act requiring persons setting up movable soccer goals to follow all applicable guidelines for anchoring, securing, and counterweighting published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in January 1995 or any successor version.

• Defines a movable soccer goal as a freestanding structure with at least 2 upright posts, a crossbar, and support bars designed for use by adults or children without external support other than temporary anchoring devices.

• Establishes violation of the Act as a petty offense subject to a fine not to exceed $500.
