• Amends the County School Facility Occupation Tax Law to change the distribution formula for tax revenues collected from multiple counties

• Changes the amount distributed to each regional superintendent of schools from collections in their county to a statewide distribution prorated based on average daily attendance of pupils resident in each county

• Maintains existing provisions allowing counties to impose up to 1% occupational tax on retailers and service providers (in quarter-percent increments) for school facility purposes with voter approval

• Requires 2% of collected funds to be deposited into the Tax Compliance and Administration Fund to cover Department of Revenue administration costs
