• Prohibits operation of ATVs and off-highway motorcycles on streets, roads, and highways, except for direct crossings at intersections under specific safety conditions or where local ordinances permit designated crossings.

• Operators must be at least 16 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and wear a properly fitted helmet secured to their head; violations may result in Secretary of State suspension of driver's license for 6 months.

• Riding an ATV or off-highway motorcycle as a passenger is prohibited; operators of vehicles carrying passengers face driver's license suspension.
